LE PRATIQUE is the wall mounted holder for the Dyson Airwrap that brings the multi-styler, its attachments, your products and the cable together on a single unit, above the vanity unit or beside the mirror.
Made in France from a single sheet of 1.2 mm galvanised steel, it spans 380 mm wide by 63 mm deep, folded into two levels either side of a back plate held flat against the wall: an upper shelf with a 60 mm raised lip closed by two side cheeks, and a lower 260 mm cradle with a front lip, extended on the right by a twin-tab hook split by a 20 mm notch.
The Dyson Airwrap barrel lies across the cradle, the attachments and bottles stand upright on the top shelf, the plug slots into the central notch and the coiled cable hangs on the hook, over it.
Those 260 mm of cradle do the work: they match the 262 mm barrel, which bears from one edge to the other instead of tipping on a central point, and the 44 mm diameter that the front lip holds back.
The unit holds 5 kg for a self weight of 933 g: the device, its six attachments and the bottles above sit well within it.
The steel arrives galvanised: the zinc layer is applied to the sheet before cutting and protects the metal under the paint, including where the film wears.
The support is then folded in one piece, with no welds, so no corrosion starting point.
Finally the powder coating in matt black RAL 9005 or cream RAL 9001 is oven cured: the powder polymerises into a continuous film that also covers the fold edges and cut edges, where liquid paint thins out.
These three stacked protections let it take the steam of a closed bathroom without pitting or yellowing.
Mounting is done on the wall, with two screws, through two pre-drilled Ø 6.5 mm holes 220 mm apart — screws included.
Two points are enough because the back plate bears against the wall along its full length: it takes the tipping load, while the screws only work in shear.
Wall plugs are not included and must be chosen to match the wall: metal expansion anchor in plasterboard, universal nylon plug in concrete or solid brick, carbide bit without hammer action in tiles.
Adhesive mounting is not offered on this model: with a device worth several hundred euros hanging above a ceramic basin, a screw is the only fixing that does not tire in steam.
For a conventional hair dryer with a pistol grip, whose body does not fit this cradle, the dedicated holder is LE FIDÈLE. The rest of the bathroom follows the same logic: LE RESSOURÇANT for bottles in the shower, and the Ripaton wall mounted holders range to finish the wall.
Above the vanity unit, when the device owns the counter.
A Dyson Airwrap lying flat takes 26 centimetres of barrel, six attachments that roll around and a cable dangling in mid air.
The counter becomes unusable, and any cleaning means moving everything.
Screwed to the wall above the basin, LE PRATIQUE lifts the whole set one level: the counter is clear again, the device stays within reach, and the attachments are visible instead of buried in a drawer.
The 7 mm cable, the one that twists.
A multi-styler cord is twice as thick as a hair dryer cord, and the round brush turns it on itself with every blow-dry.
Coiled tight around a still hot device and dropped in a drawer, it twists, fatigues at the strain relief and ends up causing power cuts.
The twin-tab hook takes the loop, the central notch holds the plug: the cord no longer has to be wound tight around a still hot device, and it returns to the same place every evening.
A styling routine that fits on one square metre.
Heat protection spray, oil, round brush and the two barrels normally live in three different places.
The 380 mm top shelf gathers them upright next to the attachments, and the morning routine happens without opening a cupboard.
Still warm attachments sit in open air rather than going back into a closed case, where they dry poorly and keep the smell of hairspray.
Small bathroom, wall used, floor clear.
At 63 mm deep, the unit fits on the strip of wall above a basin or on the side of a wall hung cabinet, without eating into the walkway.
Matt black RAL 9005 answers black taps and pale tiling, matt cream RAL 9001 suits wood, zellige and earthy tones.
Two units side by side keep each person's kit separate without doubling the footprint.
Steel where the category is plastic.
Competing holders are usually 3D printed in PLA or folded from thin aluminium, two materials that age badly above a basin: the first splits at the fold and yellows in steam, the second deforms under repeated load.
In use, powder-coated steel does not tire: it does not turn brittle, it does not warp, and nothing on it can go out of true since it is a single folded piece.
There is nothing to maintain, beyond a wipe with a sponge and a dry cloth to avoid limescale marks.
At the end of its life it goes to metal recycling, whole.
