Le Fiable Wall-mounted razor holder, shower razor holder made of powder-coated steel with adhesive mounting—no drilling required

The handle drops through the central gap and the head sits between the plate and the two side hooks. So it is head depth that decides, not the diameter of the handle, and not the weight.

The recess gives 20 mm of usable depth: 22.5 mm of standoff, less twice the 1.2 mm steel thickness. One rule follows: a head deeper than 20 mm will not fit.

LE FIABLE is made for cartridge razors and disposable razors. Safety razors with a double-edge blade, whose head is 24 to 26 mm deep, are not compatible.

If in doubt, measure the depth of your razor head before ordering.

The 3M adhesive mounting works best on smooth, clean and dry surfaces: tile, glass, painted metal, laminate, smooth painted wall.

It is not suitable for porous walls, bare wood, crumbling plaster or rough surfaces. Clean with 70° isopropyl alcohol, remove limescale and dry before fitting. If no surface in your bathroom suits, the Ripaton wall bracket range includes screw-fixed models.

Fitting takes a few minutes, with the 3M adhesive strip supplied.

Step 1: clean and degrease the wall with 70° isopropyl alcohol, remove limescale with white vinegar if needed, dry thoroughly.
Step 2: peel off the liner, position the holder, press firmly for 30 seconds across the whole plate.
Step 3: leave for 12 hours before loading it for the first time.

Check that the surface is clean, free of limescale, smooth and completely dry. An invisible soap film or a limescale deposit is enough to cut down the real contact area. Respect the 12 hours of setting time with no load before use.

The load involved stays small: 1 kg rated for a razor weighing a few dozen grams. If the holder still gives way after a correct fit, the surface is the cause rather than the adhesive: refer to the table of compatible surfaces.

Once bonded, the holder cannot be moved without damaging the adhesive strip. Removal is possible but not advised: the strip loses its grip.

To refit it elsewhere, replace the adhesive with a fresh 3M strip of the same size. So offer the holder up dry, liner still on, before bonding it: reach height inside the shower, distance from the mirror, clearance below the holder for the handle to hang.

Ultra-simple care:

• Regular cleaning: damp cloth + mild soap (pH neutral), then dry with a dry cloth
• White stains (limescale): Soft cloth soaked in white vinegar or cider vinegar, rinse, dry
• Sheltered exterior: Clean 2 times a year to remove pollen and dust

Absolutely avoid:

- Abrasive products (scraping sponge, scouring powder)

- High-pressure cleaners

- Undiluted acidic products
