As soon as a worktop rests between a base cabinet and a metal leg, or an extension reaches beyond the cabinet frame, the stretcher becomes necessary to block flexion.

Beyond an 80 cm span, it is required to preserve the rigidity of the worktop over time.

Yes. The 60×30 mm or 80×40 mm section holds up to 150 kg and suits marble, granite and ceramic worktops.
The 30×30 mm section, which supports up to 80 kg, is enough for standard solid wood worktops and breakfast bars.

It pairs with the L'INTRÉPIDE SUR MESURE leg in 60×30 mm or 80×40 mm section, and with the L'AUTHENTIQUE SUR MESURE leg in 100×30 mm section — fully compatible with both 30×30 mm and 60×30 mm stretcher sections.

The 6.5 mm pre-drilled plates are screwed directly to the cabinet on the 150×80 mm side, and to the leg on the 140×30 mm or 160×40 mm side depending on the base section.
Screws are not supplied: choose them according to the cabinet material (wood panel, MDF or plywood).

The stretcher is made to order in our workshop in Montpellier, France, according to the length and section chosen. The production lead time is shown dynamically on the product page. Manufacturing starts once the order is validated and paid.

Available in a fine-texture powder-coated finish: matte black RAL 9005.

Powder coating involves baking electrostatic polyester powder at 200°C. The result? A 60-80 micron protective coating that resists :

- Humidity: Rust-free, sheltered outdoor use (covered terrace, veranda)

- UV: No discoloration in sunlight

- Impact: Harder than simple varnish

- Corrosion: Integrated anti-corrosion protection.

Ultra-simple care:

• Regular cleaning: damp cloth + mild soap (pH neutral), then dry with a dry cloth
• White stains (limescale): Soft cloth soaked in white vinegar or cider vinegar, rinse, dry
• Sheltered exterior: Clean 2 times a year to remove pollen and dust

Absolutely avoid:

- Abrasive products (scraping sponge, scouring powder)

- High-pressure cleaners

- Undiluted acidic products
