Our " L'Élégant "is one of our removable center legs. Made from high-quality raw steel in our Montpellier workshop, its square tubes, measuring 6 x 6 cm, enable it to support up to 300 kg.

The mikado shape creates a unique visual aesthetic that adds a touch of contemporary sophistication to your interior. Its structured, harmonious design gives your table an authentic style.

The main advantage of this leg is its removable feature . This makes it easy to assemble and disassemble, enabling it to be used in a variety of locations.
Its durability and sturdiness will enable you to use it on 230 cm long tops, seating up to 8 people.

First of all, thanks to its elongated shape, this table base is particularly well suited to rectangular and oval tops. If you want to make a round or square table, our MIKADO IDÉAL model is the right choice.

To make a table with this leg, here are our recommendations for the size of the top:

• Width from 80 to 130 cm
• Length from 60 to 230 cm

If you have different dimensions (smaller or larger), this leg is also available as a made-to-measure model. You can configure it yourself to suit your project.

The mikado central table base can support a weight of 300 kilos, so you can use a heavy, solid top without any problem.

What thickness do you recommend for my top?

We recommend a minimum thickness of 2 cm, and you can use a thicker top (up to 7 cm thick).

The screws we supply are 2.5 cm long.

What material should I choose for my tray?

Our legs are designed for use under wooden tops (raw, solid, plywood).

But you can also use tops made of other materials, such as marble, granite, recycled plastic or glass.

With a marble, granite or glass top, you can glue the base in place (no need to screw it down).

This table base is delivered in KIT, flat-packed and ready-to-assemble.

Paper instructions are included in the package.

Yes, powder coating is a process that creates a long-lasting protective layer. Corrosion-resistant, it can protect steel from oxidation and rust. UV-resistant, powder coating is also UV-resistant, meaning it won't fade or degrade when exposed to the sun.

Tips for optimum use:

Regular cleaning: To keep your table legs in good condition for many years, we recommend regular cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry with a dry cloth. If white stains appear, use a soft cloth lightly moistened with cider vinegar or white vinegar.

Untreated raw steel: dark steel color, untreated. Steel can have certain marks and asperities, signs of its authenticity. Ideal for an industrial, raw, metal look. If used outdoors without protection, it may rust. This finish is only available on certain models.

Matte Black: Plain black powder coating on steel. Chic, elegant and luxurious, matte black brings modernity to your interior.

Dark matte varnish: The varnish does not hide any marks on the steel due to its authenticity. The rendering may vary slightly depending on the shade of the steel (darker or lighter).

Gloss white: Plain, glossy white powder coating on steel. Luminous and brilliant at the same time, brilliant white brings purity to your interior. Its lustrous sheen brings an air of refinement and sophistication to your decor.
