Choose a length approximately 50 to 100 mmshorter than the covered dimension, so that the ends of the profile remain recessed and invisible.

Combine two stiffeners positioned in parallel or staggered to cover the entire surface.

This depends on the size to be covered and the direction of installation.

A single stiffener in the width is generally sufficient for a table top span of up to 100 cm.

In the longitudinal direction, for spans of over 160 cm or for table top in hygroscopic solid wood - oak, ash, walnut - two stiffeners laid in parallel at 1/3 and 2/3 of the width offer significantly greater strength.

The two directions can also be combined for table tops exposed to multiple stresses.
