LE RENFORT carries a cantilevered overhang from a single cabinet, with no front leg — ideal for a breakfast bar or a dining nook. LA TRAVERSE SUR MESURE links a cabinet to a distant metal leg to support a full island worktop over 500 to 2,000 mm.

Yes, wood screws for worktop and cabinet fixing are included. Wall anchors are not supplied and must be selected by the installer according to the wall substrate (plasterboard, brick, concrete).

To fit a dining nook on an island or breakfast bar, a 300 mm overhang is the comfortable minimum for knee clearance. 350 to 400 mm offers optimal comfort, especially for taller users.

Below 150 mm, an overhang can hold on its own if firmly anchored to the cabinet. Beyond that, a support like LE RENFORT becomes mandatory to prevent tipping or breakage.

The general rule is 2/3 support, 1/3 overhang for standard materials (solid wood, finger-jointed wood, MDF, laminate, HPL compact). For ceramic, denser and more fragile, the rule becomes 3/4 support, 1/4 overhang. Plan one RENFORT every 500 mm, i.e. two per linear metre of overhang.

Available in a fine-texture powder-coated finish: matte black RAL 9005.
