Ordering and tracking

Our products are dispatched either the same day or the day after your order (excluding weekends) and delivered within 24-48 hours.

Some of our products are made to order (this is indicated on the product sheet if this is the case) and require 10 - 15 days. I promise, we'll make it as quick as possible!

For custom-made products, please allow 3 weeks at the longest.

Once your order has left our workshop, you will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail with a tracking number.

Orders are shipped by DPD or GLS, except for bulky products shipped on pallets.

Please contact our customer service department at bonjour@ripaton.fr as soon as possible so that we can modify or cancel your order before it is dispatched.

Custom orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable.

Delivery times vary according to the quantity and type of stand ordered. Generally speaking, it takes 5 to 15 days.

For products in stock, delivery is guaranteed within 24 to 48 hours of dispatch.

Yes, we manufacture all our products in custom sizes and colors. We can also manufacture custom products out of our range, on request.

Delivery

Delivery times vary according to the type of transport selected.

We work with the DPD carrier, which delivers within 24/48h to the home or 48/72h to a relay. For larger orders, pallets are required.
Custom-made products are delivered within 3 weeks.

You can collect your order directly from our workshop in Montpellier.
To do so, select "pick-up at workshop" when choosing your carrier.
This service is, of course, free of charge.

As soon as your order is ready, we'll let you know when it's available, and you can collect it during our opening hours.

you can order directly from the site for the whole of the European Union, French overseas departments and territories and Switzerland.

If you are unable to order on the site, simply contact us by e-mail for a personalized quotation.

If you have received a damaged product, it is essential that you make reservations on the delivery note to ensure that your claim is processed by our customer service department.

You have 48 hours after delivery to submit your claim to our customer service department at bonjour@ripaton.fr

Please include photos identifying the damage.

Once we have received the information we need to analyze your request, our customer service department will provide you with a suitable solution.

If you wish to postpone delivery of your order, please contact us as soon as possible using our contact form or by e-mail, specifying your order number and the desired date. We will do our utmost to accommodate your request and organise a delivery to suit your needs.

You can ask our customer service department to change your telephone number at any time so that the carrier can contact you for your delivery.

Finitions

We offer several finishes on our products:

Untreated raw steel: dark, untreated steel. Steel can have certain marks and asperities, signs of its authenticity. Ideal for an industrial, raw, metal look. If used outdoors without protection, it may rust. This finish is only available on certain models.

Dark matte varnish: plain, dark matte varnish powder coating on steel. Its matte finish brings a modern, delicate and trendy look to your interior decoration. The matte effect softens the steel's industrial look.

Powder coating: Several colors available depending on the product. Legs can be used indoors and outdoors.

For custom color requests, please contact us.

Raw steel finish is an untreated, dark finish. The steel may show marks and roughness, signs of its authenticity.

Matte varnish finish gives the same finish, but with a slightly darker, matte varnish. With this varnish, you can use the feet outdoors without any risk of rust. The finish is smoother to the touch.

To help you make the best choice, we offer you the opportunity to order a sample finish before placing your order. On the product sheet for the table legs you are interested in, simply click on the "Order a sample" button next to the colours you can choose from on each product sheet.

Finitions

Returns and refunds

You have 30 days to return the product if it does not suit you. To do so, simply request a return from your customer account or by e-mail to bonjour@ripaton.fr. A link to a return label will be sent to you. Do not frank the parcel yourself.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the products, at the price indicated in our general terms and conditions of sale (scale based on the amount/volume of the order), which will be directly deducted from your refund.

Any product received damaged will not be eligible for a full refund. Legs must be returned new, unassembled and in their original packaging. Custom-made legs cannot be returned or exchanged (see our general terms and conditions of sale). No reimbursement will be made for expenses incurred.

Don't worry! At RIPATON, you have 30 days after receiving your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, provided that the items are in perfect condition and unused.

However, custom-made products are not eligible for return.

Here are the steps to follow to make a return:

1. Make your return request from your customer area, in the "My returns" section. Select the order concerned and specify the reason for the return.

2. Prepare the parcel: make sure the feet are in perfect condition, unused, and well repackaged in their original packaging to avoid any damage during transport.

3. Ship your return: once your request has been validated, follow the shipping instructions provided. You are responsible for the return postage costs.

As soon as we have received and checked the items, we will issue a refund within a maximum of 14 days. If you have any questions or require assistance, our team is at your disposal via our contact form.

Any product received damaged will not be eligible for a full refund.

Legs must be returned in new, unassembled condition and in their original packaging.

Custom-made legs cannot be returned or exchanged (see our general sales conditions).

No reimbursement will be made for expenses incurred.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and do our utmost to process returns as quickly as possible. Once the product has been returned and received in our workshop, we will carry out a check.

If the product is confirmed to be non-compliant, a refund is usually made within 5 to 10 working days.

You will receive an email confirmation as soon as the refund has been initiated.

If this time limit is exceeded or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send us an e-mail to bonjour@ripaton.fr, quoting your order number.

Returns and refunds

Product installation

Fixing our legs under your tabletop is quick and easy. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Check the dimensions and type of fixing: each RIPATON table leg is supplied with the necessary screws for easy fixing.

For wooden tops: use the wood screws included with your legs. They are designed for a solid and stable fixing. 

2.  For glass, marble or granite tops: you will need to glue the top to the legs, as the screws are not suitable for these fragile materials. We do not supply adhesive, but we recommend that you use a strong fixing adhesive, specially designed for these types of surface, to ensure stable and secure fixing. 

3. Mark the locations: place the feet under the tray and mark where the screws are to be inserted. Make sure that the feet are centred and at an equal distance from the edges of the tabletop.

4. Drill the holes: carefully drill the marked holes using a suitable drill. For marble, granite or glass tops, be sure to use special drills to avoid damaging the material. 5. Fix the legs: insert the wood screws into the holes and screw the legs firmly to the underside of the top.  Be sure to use screws that are suitable for the thickness and type of your tabletop, and to tighten them sufficiently to ensure the stability of the table. We think of everything to protect your floors!

That's why all our legs and feet are supplied with protective rubber or felt pads.

These pads protect your surfaces from scratches and ensure greater stability.

To meet specific needs, some of our models are also available with adjustable glides.

These allow you to adjust the height of your furniture with precision, particularly useful on uneven floors.

We supply fixing screws with all our table legs!

Just make sure they fit your tabletop before screwing them in (especially the size of the screws in relation to the thickness of your tabletop). The screws we supply are 2.5 cm long.

Ideally, we recommend a minimum thickness of 2 cm.

You can also opt for a thicker tray, between 3 and 5 cm.

Even thicker? No problem, but use longer screws than those supplied with your legs, because the longer the fastener, the stronger the table!

We offer different finishes for different products.

If you want to use the products outdoors, we recommend you choose the Matte Varnish finish, or any color.

If you opt for the Rough or Rust-treated Rough finish, we advise you to reapply a little rust inhibitor from time to time to prevent rust from appearing.

Our table legs can support between 25 and 300 kilos per leg, depending on the model. This is indicated in each product data sheet. Depending on the size of your tabletop, certain legs are more or less recommended.

Our clothes racks can take a lot of weight, because they' remade from thick, solid steel. You can easily store 150 kilos of clothing or accessories.

Our wall brackets can support 25 kilos per bracket. Weadvise you to pay particularattention to the screws and plugs you use, to make sure they 're suitable foryour type of wall.

What is an overhang and what precautions should be taken?

An overhang is the part of the tabletop that extends beyond the legs or structure supporting it.

This overhang is important to consider, as it can affect the stability and solidity of your furniture. For a standard overhang, we recommend a maximum of 30 cm around the legs or structure.

Beyond this measurement, the top may be less stable or risk flexing depending on its material and weight.

 If your project requires an overhang of more than 20cm, we strongly advise you to contact us with all the necessary information:

- Precise dimensions of the tray

- Total weight

- Material used This will enable us to guide you towards the most suitable legs or solutions to guarantee safety and durability.

Payment methods

We offer several payment methods on our site:

  • - Payment by credit card
  • - Payment by bank transfer
  • - Payment by PayPal
  • - Payment by Apple Pay
  • - Payment in several installments (2-3-4 times) or in 30 days via our partner ALMA.

Unfortunately, we no longer accept cheques. But we do accept many other forms of payment!

If you choose to pay by credit card, you can pay with American Express.

It may happen that your payment is refused when you try to place an order on our site. In this case, here are a few steps to follow to quickly identify the cause of the problem:

1. Check your credit card limit

A refused payment can often be explained by reaching the spending limit authorised on your credit or debit card. Before finalising your order, check with your bank or card issuer that this limit has not been exceeded. If necessary, you can try another card or request a temporary increase in your limit.

2. Validate the 3D Secure protocol (3DS)

3D Secure is a security measure used by many banks to confirm the cardholder's identity when making online payments. If your card has not yet been activated for this protocol, it may be rejected. Contact your bank to check the status of your activation and complete the required steps if necessary.

3. Contact our customer service

If your payment is still refused after checking these points, don't hesitate to ask for help from our customer service department via our contact form. By following these recommendations, you should be able to resolve any problems quickly and finalise your order without a hitch.

If you are unable to validate your payment in order to finalise your order, please check that you have entered your payment details correctly, with no errors or extra spaces in the fields.

You can also check on your banking application that the payment is not blocked because of your card limit. If this is the case, you will need to raise the limit on your bank card by requesting an increase online or by contacting your bank advisor. To better protect our customers during online payments, you may be asked to validate 3D Secure during payment. You must then enter a security code obtained by e-mail or telephone or access your mobile banking application in order to validate your payment.

If the problem persists, please contact our customer service department using the contact form. We will validate your basket manually and send you a CB payment link, or an invoice to pay by bank transfer.

At RIPATON, we offer you flexible solutions for paying for your orders in instalments:

- PayPal: If you choose PayPal as your payment method, you may be offered the option of paying in instalments directly when you finalise your purchase (subject to eligibility for their service).

- Alma: With Alma, you can choose to pay in 2, 3 or 4 instalments. Alma also offers deferred payment options, at 15 or 30 days, for greater flexibility. These solutions are simple and transparent, with clear instructions at the time of payment.

If you have paid for your order in several instalments via ALMA and wish to request a refund, here is the procedure to follow:

- Request a return : Log in to your customer area, access the "My returns" section, and follow the steps to make your returns request. Make sure that the products are in perfect condition, unused and in their original packaging.

- Return validation : Once your return has been accepted and the items have been received by our teams, we will proceed with the refund.

- Refund via ALMA: When we validate the refund, ALMA automatically stops the remaining direct debits. If you have already paid one or more instalments, ALMA will refund the corresponding amounts directly to your account.

Please note: The refund may take a few days to appear in your account depending on ALMA's and your bank's processing times.

For a rapid response, please send an email to bonjour@ripaton.fr within 24 hours, enclosing photos of the damage to your item and a brief description of the situation.

We promise to get back to you within 24 hours. In the meantime, we recommend that you keep the packaging of your item in case you need to return it.

Finally, we recommend that you check your base as soon as you receive it, even if you don't plan to use it straight away.

Maintaining your RIPATON table legs is quick and easy!

For raw steel legs: We recommend cleaning them with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. If traces or minor oxidation appear, light sanding with steel wool or a very fine abrasive, followed by the application of a wax or anti-rust product, will preserve their shine.

Also, to prevent rust from appearing, we recommend that you apply a colourless rust inhibitor (such as rustol) to your products from time to time.

For feet with an epoxy paint finish: Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with soapy water to clean them.

Avoid abrasive products that could damage the finish. Whatever the model, remember to check the screws and fixings regularly to ensure the stability of your furniture. Our garment racks can take a lot of weight: from 80 kilos to 300 kilos, depending on the model. This is indicated on each product sheet, for each rack.

Our industrial steel racks are made from strong, durable dark steel tubing.

The use of an oval tray may require special precautions depending on its dimensions, weight and material. In order to provide you with the best possible advice, please contact us directly and let us know :

- The exact dimensions of your tray (length, width, thickness)

- Its weight

- The material from which it is made This information will enable us to recommend the appropriate legs and give you advice on how to install it safely and securely.

Load capacity varies according to the type of product:

- Legs: Depending on the model, our legs can support between 25 kg and 300 kg per leg.

You can find the specific load capacity for each model on its product sheet.

- Shelves: On average, our shelves can support up to 25 kg. However, the stability and safety of the load also depend on the fixings used to hang them on the wall.

- Racks: Our racks are designed to support between 80 kg and 100 kg, depending on the model.  If you have a specific project in mind or any doubts, our team will be happy to advise you via our contact form.

Yes, it is perfectly possible to use these types of trays, but certain precautions need to be taken:

- Glass trays: As our legs are designed to be screwed onto wood, you will need to use special suction pads or a glue suitable for glass to ensure secure fixing.

- Marble or ceramic tops: For these materials, we advise you to consult a professional marble mason or ceramist who will be able to advise you on the best installation method for your top.

- Recommended type of legs: For these materials, which are often heavy, choose central legs with a central plate, like our custom-made Ambitieux model, or a Structure that offers good stability.
