Clean well with 70° alcohol, remove all traces of limescale, and dry your wall thoroughly before installation.

LE MALIN MODÈLE LARGE is a no-drill wall hook for hanging coats, bags and bathrobes in the bathroom, hallway, kitchen or bedroom, in a minimalist industrial style.
Manufactured in the Ripaton workshop in Montpellier, this coat hook is made of 1.5 mm thick galvanized steel with an 8 × 8 cm wall base and a 4 cm deep hook, for a maximum load of 3 kg on a smooth, clean wall.
High-resistance powder-coating protects the steel against moisture, daily scratches and impacts; all finishes are suitable for wet rooms, including bathrooms and showers.
Installation is tool-free: clean the surface, apply the supplied 3M strips, press for 30 seconds - do not apply before 12 h for complete polymerization.

Choose adhesive fastening for flexibility and wall protection, or drilled fastening for sturdiness and intensive use.
Adhesive fixing is optimal on smooth, clean, dry surfaces: tiles, glass, painted metal, laminate, painted wall.
It is not suitable for porous walls, untreated wood, crumbly plaster or damp, unsmooth surfaces.
Installation takes just a few minutes thanks to the 3M adhesive tape supplied.
3-step installation - Total time: 15 min + 12h drying time
STEP 1 - Surface preparation (10 min)
Thoroughly clean and dry your wall (free of limescale and dust).
- Cleaning degreaser: 70° alcohol or household degreaser
- Limescale removal: white vinegar if necessary
- Dry completely: wait 5 min minimum
STEP 2 - Installation (2 min)
Remove the protective film, then apply the peg with firm pressure.
- Final positioning (no second chances)
- Firm pressure for 30 seconds over the entire surface
STEP 3 - Curing (12h)
Leave to set for 12 hours before hanging up your towels or clothes, to ensure lasting adhesion.
- Do not stress adhesive
- Resistance test after 12h only
Check the surface: it must be clean, limescale-free, dust-free, smooth and perfectly dry.
Respect the 12-hour no-load period.
Each adhesive hook supports up to 3 kg, provided the wall is suitable and the surface has been well prepared.
That's enough weight to hang towels, bathrobes, bags, jackets or everyday accessories.
Once glued, the wall hook cannot be moved without damaging the adhesive tape.
Removal is possible but not recommended, as the adhesive strip may lose its stickiness and leave marks.
For optimum hold, a single application is recommended.
However, it can be repositioned by replacing the adhesive with a new 3M tape of the same format.

Powder coating offers superior protection to standard paint, but requires gentle maintenance to preserve its anti-corrosion properties.
Daily cleaning: wipe with a slightly damp microfiber cloth.
Thorough cleaning: use lukewarm soapy water (neutral dishwashing liquid), then rinse and dry immediately. For stubborn marks, a 3:1 mixture of water and white vinegar is sufficient.
Adhesive fastener maintenance: check bonding strength every month, especially in damp rooms. If partial delamination occurs, remove and reposition with new 3M VHB adhesives.
Absolutely avoid :
Avoid abrasive products, bleach and solvents, which attack the powder-coated finish.
Aggressive chemicals, abrasive sponges and metal scrapers permanently scratch the powder coating.
Never use acetone or 90° alcohol, which dissolve the finish.
