L'Épanoui 71 cm cylindrical column table base in tubular steel

L'ÉPANOUI measures exactly 710 mm.
Add your top thickness for the finished height: a 25 to 40 mm wood or laminate top brings the table to 73.5 to 75 cm, the reference ergonomic height for dining table, desk and meeting table.

L'ÉPANOUI fits 2, 3 or 4 legs depending on the top geometry, from 120 cm to 350 cm long. Minimum recommended width: 120 cm — providing approximately 60 cm clearance between the two base footprints at the table end (2 × Ø 29.8 cm = 59.6 cm), a seat width in line with ergonomic standards. Common rule: the centre of gravity of the top must fall inside the perimeter formed by the support points.

2 legs aligned — oblong top
Two L'ÉPANOUI aligned on the longitudinal axis, set back from the ends. Even overhang on each side, free perimeter, longitudinal stability provided by the spacing of the columns.

3 legs in triangle — kidney-shaped top
Leg 1 under the large lobe (largest zone). Leg 2 under the tip of the small lobe. Leg 3 centred on the outer convex arc, opposite the inner curve reserved for the chair. 7 to 10 cm setback from the edge to conceal the fixing plates and preserve knee clearance.

4 legs — oval or rectangular top
Two layouts: at the 4 corners (7 to 10 cm setback) for a symmetric load distribution, or staggered (asymmetric alternating pattern) for tops with unusual proportions or greater length. In both cases, the centre of gravity stays within the support perimeter up to 350 cm long.

L'ÉPANOUI holds 150 kg per leg and accepts dense and resistant tops: solid wood (oak, walnut, ash), plywood, MDF, marble, granite, terrazzo, tempered glass and recycled plastic.
Minimum recommended thickness: 22 mm in solid wood and plywood. Beyond 3 cm of marble, granite or terrazzo, plan a second leg or an intermediate frame.

For tempered glass and non-wood tops, prefer structural bonding or threaded inserts.

The Ø 350 mm × 4 mm round top plate features Ø 6.5 mm round holes for the included wood screws.
Centre the leg under the top, mark the holes, drill pilot holes, fix.
Self-adhesive rubber pads included to protect parquet and polished concrete.

For tempered glass and non-wood tops, prefer structural bonding or threaded inserts.

L'ÉPANOUI as the reference:

Two different approaches to uneven floors: L'ÉPANOUI uses 3 contact points — isostatic tripod geometry, no adjustment needed. L'ICONIQUE uses a continuous base ring compensated by adjustable pads — equivalent result in practice, different mechanism.
LE DÉVOUÉ shares the same Ø 159 mm section but as a single tube — preferred for round, square or standard rectangular tops without organic asymmetry.
LE LOYAL ROND SUR MESURE suits light tables and side pieces (≤ 80 kg/leg), with adjustable pads available on the made-to-measure Ø 80 mm version.

LE DÉVOUÉ is a single straight column: one tube Ø 159 mm screwed to the tabletop via a round collar Ø 220 mm.

L'ÉPANOUI uses the same tube but assembled as a tripod — three tubes welded at a central node — and is used 2, 3 or 4 per table depending on top format: 2 legs under a narrow oblong top, 3 under a round top, 4 under a rectangular top.
The wider base carries up to 150 kg per leg against 100 kg for LE DÉVOUÉ.
Floor footprint also differs: Ø 159 mm for LE DÉVOUÉ, 3-tube tripod for L'ÉPANOUI.

This table base is available in nine professional-quality finishes that don't just look good - they protect.

Fine-texture powder-coated finishes: matt black (RAL 9005), high-gloss white (RAL 9003), cream (RAL 9001), green (RAL 6011), yellow (RAL 1023), blue (RAL 5002).

Metallic sandblasted effect powder-coated finishes: copper (Y2304I), gold (Y2316F).

Powder coating involves baking electrostatic polyester powder at 200°C. The result? A 60-80 micron protective coating that resists :

- Humidity: Rust-free, sheltered outdoor use (covered terrace, veranda)

- UV: No discoloration in sunlight

- Impact: Harder than simple varnish

- Corrosion: Integrated anti-corrosion protection.

• Unsheltered exteriors: Not recommended (even with powder coating, water accumulation in the tubes could pose a long-term problem)

Ultra-simple care:

• Regular cleaning: damp cloth + mild soap (pH neutral), then dry with a dry cloth
• White stains (limescale): Soft cloth soaked in white vinegar or cider vinegar, rinse, dry
• Sheltered exterior: Clean 2 times a year to remove pollen and dust

Absolutely avoid:

- Abrasive products (scraping sponge, scouring powder)

- High-pressure cleaners

- Undiluted acidic products
