L'Habile thin is a steel worktop leg that can be configured to create a kitchen return, a semi-mounted top or a worktop extension to the exact dimensions of the project.
Manufactured in the Ripaton workshop in Montpellier, this H-shaped base incorporates fully-welded 30×30 mm square steel tubes. Widths of 60, 80 or 100 cm, heights from 40 to 110 cm, load capacity up to 80 kg - this base is compatible with table tops in solid wood, marble, natural stone and HPL laminate.
The 9 available finishes - fine-texture powder coating or dark matte varnish - are moisture-resistant. Eight of them are suitable for sheltered outdoor use; the varnished finish is reserved for indoor use.
Fully welded, L'Habile thin is fixed to table top by screwing into the 5 × 6.5 mm oblong holes; fixing screws and plastic plugs are supplied.
This base is made to order: manufacturing lead times to be taken into account, no returns or exchanges after manufacture.
For a stock version with a fixed height of 89 cm and a width of 80 cm, or for a complete configuration integrating two H-shaped legs and three crosspieces, the same model in 30×30 mm square steel tubing is available as a standard 89 cm worktop leg and a complete configurable table structure to be found in our selection of legs for islands and worktops.
Calculate the height to order: finished height minus thickness table top

The height of the leg to be ordered corresponds to the desired finished height minus the thickness of the table top.
For a kitchen worktop with a finished height of 90 cm and a table top of 3 cm: leg height = 87 cm.
For a 110 cm bar with a 4 cmtable top : leg height = 106 cm.
This calculation is made before the order is placed - the foot is delivered to the exact dimension, without any on-site adjustments.
The height range from 40 to 110 cm covers standard worktops, open plan kitchens and bar counters in the same reference.
Choose width according to carcase or counter depth table top
The three available widths correspond to three plan configurations: 60 cm for narrow returns or shallow plans, 80 cm for standard 60 cm-deep pedestalswith overhang, 100 cm for deep islands or double-sided plans.
The kitchen designer chooses the width of the leg according to the depth of the existing cabinet and the desired overhang - the leg structures the semi-mounted top without modifying the joinery.

A kitchen return imposes constraints that the standard version cannot absorb: finished height offset by thick paving, different floor levels between two spaces, atypical thickness of table top .
L'Habile thin SUR MESURE is ordered to the net dimension of the project - the kitchen designer transmits the calculated height, the leg is manufactured in the Ripaton workshop in Montpellier and delivered ready to install. The same logic applies to U-shaped peninsulas: two legs at identical or different heights, depending on the configuration, in the same finish and steel section.
