LE BISTROT is a wall bracket for a cafe table built to hang a floating table on the wall in cantilever, with no leg on the floor, ideal for a coffee corner, a snack area or a meal for 1 to 2 people, above a booth seat or against a bare wall.
Made in Montpellier, France from 40 × 40 mm square steel tubes with a 2 mm wall, it pairs a low wall plate of 130 × 110 mm, 6 mm thick, with a horizontal arm of 275 mm, welded at a right angle to an upright that rises over 460 mm to a 180 × 180 mm tabletop plate, 3 mm thick, pierced by the tube and welded around its edge.
This welded 90° elbow drives the load down to the base of the fixing: the wall plate alone absorbs the entire bending moment, in pull-out at its 4 holes and in compression at its lower bearing. That is precisely why it is twice as thick as the upper plate.
The assembly holds 30 kg per bracket for a round or square top of 30, 40 or 50 cm in solid wood, plywood, chipboard, marble, granite, ceramic, porcelain stoneware, compact HPL or recycled plastic, and leaves the floor completely clear.
Available in 9 finishes, powder-coated or varnished, it is moisture resistant and suits indoor as well as sheltered outdoor settings.
Both plates are pre-drilled Ø 6.5 mm, 8 fixing points to the top, 4 to the wall, and the tabletop screws are supplied, sized for thicknesses of 20 to 50 mm. Wall screws and plugs are not supplied, as they depend on the substrate: concrete, solid brick, reinforced framing or a booth seat base unit.
The tabletop is not included: have it made by your joiner, cabinetmaker, stonemason or ceramist.

For a 30 cm top, the coffee table beside the booth.
The top sits at seat height, within arm's reach of the sofa or the booth seat. You reach out, pick up the cup, put it back down. A round 30 cm top is enough: the floating table takes a coffee, an open book, a phone set down mid-call, and leaves legroom entirely free. This is the format for narrow corridors, recesses between two doors and bedrooms where no side table fits.
For a 40 cm top, the snack counter and cocktail table.
At 40 cm, the surface gains room for a plate and a glass side by side. This is the format of the solo snack counter and the cocktail table: a waiting area by the bar, a run of window, a living-room wall where you eat standing or perched on a stool. Several brackets line up on the same wall, each with its own top, without ever clogging the floor.
For a 50 cm top, the dining table for 1 to 2 people.
At 50 cm, the size of the top is what makes a dining table for 1 to 2 people possible, round or square. On a booth seat base unit, this wall bracket adds covers without adding a leg to sweep around: it frees the main tables at peak hours and carries the 30 kg of a compact HPL top or natural stone.
A tabletop made by a craftsman
The upper plate takes whatever a workshop can cut: oiled oak from a joiner, solid walnut from a cabinetmaker, Carrara marble or granite from a stonemason, porcelain stoneware from a ceramist, terrazzo, live edge, reclaimed board. The bracket disappears under the material; the top carries the character of the room. Only glass is ruled out.

Worth noting: LE BISTROT holds 30 kg, the same load as the slim central bases in the range. The difference is on the floor: wall fixing takes up no space at all, where a Ø 45 cm foot covers 0.16 m².
LE BISTROT takes a round or square top of 30, 40 or 50 cm. The bracket is identical in all three cases: the size of the top is what decides the use.

The bracket height stays at 46 cm whichever top you choose: 30, 40 and 50 cm refer to the tabletop, never to the bracket.

The tabletop screws are included for the 8 points of the upper plate, sized for thicknesses of 20 to 50 mm.
Wall screws and plugs for the 4 points of the base plate are not: they vary with the substrate, concrete, solid brick, reinforced framing or a booth seat base unit, and must be sized by the installer.
On a hollow partition, fixing into a stud or adding a timber backing is essential.
LE BISTROT adds 460 mm above the bottom of its wall plate. For a finished surface at 75 cm with a 30 mm top, set the bottom of the plate at roughly 26 cm from the floor. On a bench base unit, fix it laterally at seat level.
Always measure before drilling, as the final figure depends on the tabletop thickness you choose.
