L' Ambitieux mikado off-center table base Steel tube

"L'Ambitieux" is distinguished from our Mikado-shaped central table legs by its off-center design. It is manufactured in our Montpellier workshop from high-quality raw steel.

Its 60 x 60 mm square tubes combine stability, strength and durability with a modern look.

Its off-axis, ambitious lines intersect and combine harmoniously in "L'Ambitieux" to sublimate your tabletop.

Caution: not recommended for marble and glass.

How is this stand delivered?

Delivered flat-packed, ready-to-install.

Paper instructions are included in the package.

Screws and adjustable glides are included.

Our offset mikado table leg is perfect for making a beautiful dining table, meeting table or even a desk.

The "L'Ambitieux" base can support a weight of 300 kilos, but is supplied in kit form and requires assembly.

For your round or square trays: 

Thanks to its elongated shape, this table base is particularly suitable for rectangular and oval tops.

If you have a specific project, our "L'Ambitieux" is available as a made-to-measure model, so you can configure it yourself. 

What thickness is recommended for my tray?

We recommend a minimum thickness of 2 cm, and you can use a thick tray (up to 7 cm thick).

Wood screws measuring 2.5 cm in length are supplied with the base.

What material should I choose for my tray?

Our feet are designed for use under wooden tops (raw, solid, plywood).

We do not recommend the use of marble, granite or glass tops.

Untreated raw steel: dark steel color, untreated. Steel may have certain marks and roughness, a sign of its authenticity. Ideal for an industrial, raw, metal look. If used outdoors without protection, it may rust.

This finish is only available on certain models.

Dark matte varnish: plain, dark matte varnish powder coating on steel. Its matte finish brings a modern, delicate and trendy look to your interior decoration. The matte effect softens the steel's industrial look.

Matte Black: Plain black powder-coating on steel. Chic, elegant and luxurious at the same time, matte black brings modernity to your interior.

Gloss white : Plain, glossy white powder coating on steel. Luminous and brilliant at the same time, brilliant white brings purity to your interior. Its lustrous sheen brings a sense of refinement and sophistication to your decor.
